Prolly seen Sloan round ten times and they are the best band in the world. Jay promised to play *False Alarm* next time they play Chicago. Go see them. Go buy their records. Met and talked to them afterwards and they were super nice and down to earth. I posted some after show pics. They fuckin rock live.
Honestly, the show wasn't so great.... weak set list... It was the first time I have seen them since I lived in buffalo 3 years ago...... oh well... they shoved the new ep down our throats!
I've been since the early days but have never had the chance to see them live as I lived in Florida for too many years. I've always wanted to see them and the long wait was worth it. Yes, they did play the new EP but I LOVE the new EP so I was pleased. Great show and it was great to see them in such a cool venue. Every album from back in the Twice Removed days to Hit and Run is gem. Thank you guys for such a great show. Please come back soon!
This was the first time I have seen Sloan live. They total rocked out! I especially liked the "Underwhelmed" where they had an all start cast on the stage. Definitely had a good mix of new and old stuff. It was totally worth the train ride and the walk to the show. If you have yet to experience these guys live, you have to totally get there. You will not be disappointed.
