This was the strangest show I have ever been too. The crowd was ROUGH and rude. I think the band could feel the weird vibe as soon as they hit the "stage" and when the guy in the front row put his girl in the headlock it made for a tense evening.
The band played a really interesting set of older songs, but the audience talked as much as they could in an effort to ruin the evening for anyone that was there to enjoy the music.
After the show, I was discussing with my friends that I really felt like writing the band an apology email, as Sloan is way too awesome to be playing such a dive at this point in their career. As much as I loved having you guys play a gig so close to home, please don't ever return to Oshawa. It just made me ashamed and embarrassed to live in this area. Play Toronto and I will make the drive to come see you guys next tour.
Always a fan, great show minus the crowd. Oshawa is the delayed capital of Canada. You guys should play somewhere where the people can speak in full sentences. I am disgusted with the human species that reside in Oshawa.
On a plus, still had a lot of fun!
