My first time seeing Sloan in a long, long, time. It was great, although kind of weird to see the band perform in a softseat venue. Needless to say, they put on a wonderful show and left all of us wanting more. Never really considering myself a "Sloan fan" and being largely unfamiliar with their recent work, I was blown away at the variety they included in last night's show and even more so, their ability to write incredibly moving and emotional songs full of hooks that stick you in all the right places. A great collection of Canadian songwriters!
Thanks for soming to town Sloan. I hope to see you guys back again soon.
