Sloan

After buying tix for the Philadelphia show @ Kung Fu Necktie and New York's Bowery Ballroom, I had no intentions to head out to The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. That is, until I decided to count up all the Sloan shows I've attended over the years. The Bowery Ballroom was #19 and I was quickly faced with a major decision...be happy with seeing two great shows for this tour, or adding one more show so that I could experience my 20th Sloan show during their 20th Anniversary Tour. Needless to say, my mind was made up. I bought a ticket and boy am I glad I did!

All three shows were great in their own separate ways but The Knitting Factory was on a whole other level of enjoyment! The crowd was amazing and the guys seemed to be feeding off their energy. They played songs I haven't heard in years! It was one of those experiences that I wish all my Sloan-loving friends got to experience with me.
