No one has sent us photos from the show yet! Send us your photos so we can add them to the site.
This was my second time seeing Sloan in just a little over a year (last time was the Hit & Run tour in Feb '10), and the band did not disappoint!
The venue and stage were quite small, but they made it work. There was a very long "sound test" following Dearly Beloved's set, and then Sloan finally hit the stage and delivered-- in a BIG way!
It was a very energetic show, especially for a Tuesday night! The crowd seemed younger than the last time, so this may have contributed a bit. There were many sing-alongs throughout the night. Not just for the usual "Everything You've Done Wrong" and "Money City Maniacs", but also on "Coax Me" and "The Other Man"! Most of the audience seemed unfamiliar with the new material, but they rocked out all the same.
I had been checking the set lists posted in the tour archive, so I had a general idea of which songs would be played at the show. I was very surprised when the band started in on "Worried Now" (first time played on the tour). That was a real treat! It was great to hear "Sinking Ships" live, too.
I wrote out the set during the show.

Thanks so much for coming back to San Francisco! Hope you guys had as much fun on stage as we did in the audience.
