Review of Show in Philadelphia PA by Will

I remember that Chris was wearing an orange Addidas T-shirt. And that they played a bunch of songs from "Between the Bridges," plus an assortment of classics. I also remembered that my socks were rocked clean off.

Review of Show in Winnipeg, MB by Andrew Stupak

actually the show was on Aug 30 (it was my birthday... i remember it well)

anyhoo, this was the first time snowjam had come to winnipeg... some sort of skateboarding, bmx biking competition stuff and whatnot (where was the snow?) who cares about the snow, we were getting free mountain dew all day, and thats all that really mattered.
Sloan kicked all sorts of ass, they were the highlight of this whole 2day festival. it turned dark, it started to rain, and then sloan came on stage and the crowd went apeshit. greatest moshpit ive ever been in in my life. and i managed to get their setlist off the stage somehow after the show...
ill post that in a bit

greatest show ever

Review of Show in Boston, MA by The Spektators

I was at the show in Boston with two of my band mates. We drove from Connecticut to see the gig at the Paradise, having found out about the show almost a month earlier, when we'd driven to New Hamshire to see Sloan open for Pete Yorn. I would call that dedication, others would call it "psychotically obsessed.
In any event, I had the time of my life at the Paradise. We'd gotten there early so as to get the best poissible spot to take pictures, and I do have a few that I will be submitting soon. At any rate, I am looking forward to the new album and the tour this year, and I am hoping with all that I have that Sloan makes a stop in the wonderful city of New Haven.

Hi,

Here is the setlist of the show and a picture of Chris I took at the show.

Review of Show in Bala, Ontario by Antin

Excellent setlist, including opening the show with Underwhelmed and closing with If It Feels Good, Do It during the encore. Kinda disappointed that Jay and Andrew only sang two songs each (Lines You Amend, and a new one, and In The Movies and People of the Sky, respectively).

The crowd was pretty intense at times - blame the alcohol for that one. People actually tried to mosh during The Other Man.

But other than that it was a great show. The Kee is a really cool venue. I'll have a picture of Chris putting me in a headlock (reluctantly at first) up soon.

Review of Show in New York NY by PC

Here's a setlist for this show, which took place at the Bowery Ballroom.

Don't You Believe A Word
Sensory Deprivation
The NS
Marquee and the Moon
Long Time Coming
Iggy & Angus
So Beyond Me
At the Edge of the Scene
Take Good Care of the Poor Boy
On the Horizon
Money City Maniacs
She Says What She Means
Good in Everyone

I have this habit of travelling across the pond (from London) to catch Sloan whenever they play in NYC, and this was a fantastic show that highlighted how tight the band had become live. I seem to remember Patrick saying this was the first time "Long Time Coming" had been played live, and it was a treat to hear "At the Edge of the Scene". There wasn't a lot of older material, but the crowd loved every minute of the show, clapping and singing along all the way. Good times.

Review of Show in Quebec City, Quebec by magalie

Excellente performance, un son médiocre mais de l'énergie à revendre, un spectacle de Sloan comme on les aiment. Revenez à Québec SVP. Et Jay, merci de m'avoir fait découvrir My Bloody Valentine...

Review of Show in Kingston ON by Cory Toth

When I went and saw this show, I only knew some past Sloan singles and the tunes off of Pretty Together, and I was still blown away.
The guys were great live; making jokes, getting the crowd into it, and they were very interactive with the audience, which is always great at a concert.
Me and my posse of friends were at the complete back of the theatre, up on the balcony, but that didn't diminish the show one bit - we had a great view and we were having such a great time at one point Chris pointed up to us and said "Yea, we see you guys up there!" which was very cool.
After the show we ran into people we knew, including a math teacher from our school, and everyone agreed that it was a great concert.
I still wear the Sloan shirt I bought at that concert at least once a week, even after two years of wear-and-tear have taken its toll on it!

Review of Show in Toronto, ON by Antonietta Curcio

I was not there for the Tea Party nor Grindig or (Ugh) Edwin. I was there for Sloan and thanks to those lovely people at Tickmaster they stuck me near the 'small stage'. When Sloan ran on stage complete in Animal and Shark suits it made up for the crappy seats. However, the folks behind me didn't understand that it was alright to stand and support your favourite band. Forced to sit down I still managed to wave my hands and scream SLOOOOOAAAAAAAAAANNNNNN! (to their horror).
