I was really excited to check out the band yesterday. The set list included lots of tracks off the new album. Those tracks sounded great live. They're still bouncing around in my head as I type this. I think my ears are still ringing too.

The opening band,Yoko Casionos, had a great sound, high energy, and really seemed to enjoy being on stage.

The encore featured a rendition of "I Can Feel It," with Misty from the Yoko Casionos singing the harmony with Patrick. Very cool.

Once again, great job guys. Look forward to seeing you next time.

1. Darn glad I crossed over to Windsor to buy the CD a couple weeks ago.

2. Darn glad I drove from Detroit to Sarnia to see the show.

3. I've seen you guys five times now and this was easily the best.

4. The new songs sound great live!

4.1. My voice is sore from singing along.

5. I wish you guys all the success in the universe, but it was still amazing to be able to see you play up close at a smaller venue.

6. Mr. Jay Ferguson: The Stray Cats rock.

But on a topic of concern to me lately is the idea that I may be going crazy by having non conformist ideas that have been at conflict with upbringing dominated constitution. Non conformist ideas! F**k I am 28 years on this planet and I am only now confronting the idea that we are animals. And what do I really know about a personal constitution. I would at least need an undergraduate understanding of psychology. I own a first year text but I still prefer an encyclopedic jaunt (check out Phrenology). Not even sure if can use jaunt that way. Watched American Splendor yesterday; while 2/3 of it anyway that’s all I could handle. What a depressingly middle age oriented movie that was annoyingly told and yet currently interesting. That likely does not come across the way I want it to.

You might be thinking that is an odd thing to write about; but a doobie and cold Friday afternoon with “if I were a carpenter” by Tim Hardin playing in the background?.can and if attempted; will, do that to you.

And the fact that, that (the stuff before now), plus a one hour game of pick-up ice hockey is what made up my yesterday leading to the last minute decision to go see a band that has been in my musical rotation since Twice Removed. Onandonandon

So, I enjoyed the show but I think the fact that the band wasn’t raised made the experience less potentially enjoyable. This may have affected my first live experience of the band. I understand that heavy electric usually dominates a concert but I missed a crispness of sound which was noticeable during “The Other Man”. It seems like I know this band to be capable of producing all out rock and finely tuned alternative. The finely tuned alternative missed my senses last night. I may have been expecting too much but I wasn’t let down.

I tried to count how many times I've seen you guys at this show (between acts, of course!), and I've lost count. No matter -- this show blew several of them away by far. The new material really clicked live, and the small venue was a defiinte treat...and can we all get a copy of the video when it's done, too?

And hey, Chris? Thanks for hand-delivering that set list and the love (woo!) after such a sweaty, high-energy show!
