Just got home from Cleveland. That was the best show ever.
My first Sloan show, and I absolutly loved it! WOW!!!
It was so worth the 5 1/2 hour drive thru ice and snow.

After being shut out of L.A. and booted from the Bowery, the anticipation for the Cleveland show was out of control. As usuall, Sloan did not let us down. Even though the guys seemed a little under the weather, the show sounded great. The set list included a lot of new material and there were some old jems as well. Highlights for me included "Everything you've done wrong" and the "Flyin' High" opener. Much thanks to Gregory for chatting it up before and after the show. You're a welcome addition, my man! Also, if the girl in the "Lick it up" tee is out there, email me some photos! I know you got a shot of Chris and I, and I sure would like to get my hands on it! Thanks.

O wow. My first Sloan show was fantastic even though a few members were not feeling well. I want to thank them again for playing on. It was amazing watching them play in such a small place. Wouldn't want it any other way. My dad, who I have now turned into a Sloan fan, had a lot of fun as well. I can't wait for my next Sloan show. Thanks Sloan for such an awesome show.

By the way what is the name of the song that they played after "Listen to the Radio"? I can't remember the name of it.

Took me a few days to recover, but what a great show in Cleveland! Thanks, guys! This was the best Sloan show I've seen since the original Grog Shop. Though Chris was ill, they gave their all and it was very much appreciated! I though 'Never Hear...' was a good record, but hearing it live, it is my album of the year!! You guys RAWK!!!
SLOOOOOAN!! SLOOOOOAN!!

Kimi, my husband and I were standing right next to you at the show and found it pretty phenomenal that you brought your dad -- and that your dad was a Sloan fan.

Husband and I both remember that "Chester the Molester," off Navy Blues, was after "Radio." But we are old and our memories are failing, so we're not entirely sure.

This show was really a great example of a well-travelled band putting on a well rehearsed show.
Even though Chris wasn't singing to the best of his abilities (due to sickness) they really sounded big.
The addition of Greg and his keys/organ/vocals really made the difference in the sound of this band. Thanks God these guys are still making this kind of music for us. I hope they keep going. I, for one will pay for the tickets if they come around this way again (I came from Cincinnati).
The last song was "If it feels good do it" for the last post.
I hope you make a swing through the States this Spring! The new album is absolutely GREAT. Thanks!!

I THINK "Before the End of The Race" was after "Listen to the Radio" I know they closed with "If it Feels Good Do It" by that point it was a pretty exciting drunken blur for me. >.>

Kimi, the song after LTTR was Chester the Molester =0)
