Sloan rocked. It's so weird seeing them in such a small venue.
The opening band was a little 80s, but had an amazingly entertaining keyboardist/tambourine guy, who I am sure has one hell of a bruise on his shoulder!
The set wasn't too different from last time round, but it was high energy and fun (as I've come to expect!)
My highlight was shaking Andrew's hand and thanking him for making some good music over the years...I never would get that chance in Toronto!
HFXNSHC remains my fav little ditty live.

Incredibe set! Best show I've ever seen, hands down (though I have a soft spot for when they blew Jet off the stage at Irving). Great crowd too, all die-hards. I know I talked to a guy writing down the set list. Let's have it!

What an awesome show! This was the second time I saw them. The last time had to be like 10 years ago. They opened up for Swervedriver(? who cares - i went to see Sloan) at Irving Plaza. I thought they kicked ass then, and they were ten times better at this show. I can't wait to see them again when they come to town. SouthPaw was a very cool place to see a show.

Great show in a great club. The place was packed with die-hard-sing-along-to-every-word Sloan fans. I thought the band was relaxed and happy to be there. I know I was!
