Very good show - the new songs are a return to rocking form, particularly Patrick's. The mix of old favorites with new rockers made this a different Sloan show - though the annoying MRCH "radio" should be left in Halifax.
Brilliant show last night. Great energy as the mix of old and new kept the crowd rocking late into a Monday night. Hope to see you back in Chicago again soon!
Let me get this started off. The Golden Dogs put on a great show, lots of energy, sounded great and really nice too. As for Sloan, Chris toughed it out even though his voice still wasn't 100%. Much appreciated, veteran rocker move. Patrick and Andrew seemed really into it this night as well. On the other hand it was Jays night off apparently as he was not into it at all, which is fine. Agree with an earlier poster that the MRCH thing has to go. The new stuff was really rocking and sounded great live, props to Chitown for coming out pretty big for a Monday night show.
I cannot believe no one has written about this show. I was fortunately in Chicago on business and it was the best Sloan show I've ever seen. There were so many people taking pics. Where are they?
